Prince Geroge’s County

I specialize in the rural tier of Prince George’s county which offers several large acreage parks. Patuxent River Park comprises over 6,000 acres of natural area parklands along the spectacularly scenic Patuxent River and includes miles of hiking/ horse riding trails, hands on nature events, and historical re-enactments several times a year.

The county hosts a portion of the Star Spangled Banner Historic Trail for its role in the War of 1812 when this region was the center of our young nation's struggle for survival.  The county’s namesake, Prince George, was the brother of King Christian V of Denmark and Norway. A drive in the rural tier of Prince George’s county, established in 1696, is a picturesque look at farms, tobacco barns, and horse stables situated on soft rolling hills. Besides many well preserved or restored historic homes, the rural tier of Prince Geroge’s county is the place to be if green acres, and lot’s of it, is your chosen lifestyle.  Prince Georges County is one of the largest rural areas in such close proximity to a major city in the US. Metro Rail lines in the county make for a comfortable commute into DC.
